New Parent in waiting..
Hi Folks,
Just checking in here..
My order for my MCSa went in last Sept 21st..
My g/f and I stayed late working out some good deals on the MINI. It helps when you've got connections and this forum.
We asked the MA if he could find a closer production wk than 43 (like an abandoned or cancelled order) and lucked out with a wk40..
At least I think its Wk40.
I called ASK MINI today and my baby entered production on Sept 22nd and is due for completion on Oct 2nd..
Apparently, we got it at code 112 just before it hit the line, thank goodness, cause my MA and I were crossing our fingers that it would take.
I can't wait.. its all so very exciting!
The MA was awesome as well (MINI of Sterling), they pulled out a MCSCa for us out of the showroom to test out (no MCSa on the lot), fully loaded, but it helped me pick the features I didn't want.. (just my preferences)
So anyways, I'm joining the forum, and counting down the days until I can start motoring out there. meanwhile, I need to sell my 03 Honda Element. She did me well, and in 2 1/2 years I got 92K on her, but I don't think the high milage equates to high trade-in costs! But at least I got some time to sell and use the cash for additional Downpayment!
See you all out there. Can't wait to start the milage counter on my new MINI!

The wait is awful but hopefully will be worth it!
There are TONS of posts to read here on NAM to help the wait! I found the "things you didn't know about your MINI" very fun as it talks about all the features!Anyway, see you around the forums!
