new owner new problem!! need help ASAP

i got up this mornig to go to work and oh sh-- my car would not start i check the battery and even put a charger on it that didn't work but i did notice a clicking sound and i check the fuse panel and everytime i try to start the car there is a fuse that clicks as well this fuse has the gas logo on it is that the pump or what please help

tell us a little more about the car: is it new? did you buy it used and if so what is the mileage? sounds like a battery issue which can be as simple as a bad terminal connection to a bad battery.If new,you are entitled to a roadside assisted tow to the dealer. give us some more details.

well i thought it was the battery but i had it on a charger all mornig it has 58,000 miles i bought it used its a 02 model the charger shows a full charge and is pulling plenty of amps.

A lot of times a "clicking" will indicate a bad starter. Usually the starter is trying to fire out the solenoid but the solenoid isn't connecting with the fly wheel. But without hearing it for myself that is only a guess...

yup.check the two leads to the starter to see if they are tight or dirty.

It might need a new battery. The '02 and '03 models have been experiencing battery failures due to age. A short in the battery would prevent starting, charging, and possibly even jumping.
