Honest Dealer Search

I am looking to buy a new 2006 Mini. I have been researching and telephoning Mini dealers across the USA for the past month. However, I have been disappointed by dealers and salesmen that want to add an "up charge" above MSRP. Also, I want a Mini with all of the "bells and whistles". Unfortunately, I get salesmen that don't know Mini options and packages. Can anyone suggest an honest dealer and/or salesman?

Sure thing, Westchester Mini, in Elmsford, NY where they always sell at MSRP. Ask for Steve Stein, the whole team there is very knowledgeable.

I have had very good experiences with Moritz MINI in Dallas. My MA is Neil Scheckter (neil.scheckter@moritzmail.com) and they sell at MSRP. Tell him I said 'Hi'.

When I helped to organize a 'service station' with Metroplex MINIs for the MTTS crowd, Moritz gave us several cases of oil, coolant, washer fluid and brake fluid to use when topping up the MINIs driving across the country.

Kudos also go to Mini of Dallas and Moritz for splitting the cost of washes for the 70-some MINIs that came to our little side event.

Honest Dealer - Chicago, IL

Hey,

First, thats awesome that you want to get a Mini! Our's is on order and the wait is killing us.

Anyway, Patrick Mini in Schaumburg IL is great!!! They sell at MSRP and throw tons of stuff in without bickering! Our MA is Jen she can be emailed at JSutherland@patrickcars.com. They KNOW their stuff and are friendly! We got the MCS LOADED -JCW package for MSRP...We also added the alarm, and chrome tip exhaust and aux input. They waved the install fee for us on the exhaust since we were spending so much money. Also, they throw in matts for the whole car. You can pick either rubber or carpet!

If you pick one up from Jen tell her Brad and Katie say hi!

By the way, Jen is the BEST car dealer I have ever worked with! No pressure! Always putting you first! Always wants YOU to be happy!

As we haven't gotten the Mini yet I can't say anything about their service!

Classic Mini in Cleveland OH is a NAM sponsor. We were happy working with them!

I second the vote for Steve Stein, Westchester Mini in Elmsford. They sell at MSRP, with no thought to mark up, and I have never had a car-buying experience in which the salesperson was so helpful and respectful. If you'd like more info, feel free to send a message my way. (Steve has a web page dedicated to different MINI options, color combinations, etc., so can give you a pretty good idea of bells/whistles.)

I'm still waiting for the call that my MINI is in, but I've been working with Brad Ray at Flow MINI in Winston-Salem, NC. He has been very helpful, no pressure at all and completely up front with costs. No markup above MSRP (there is a dealer prep fee though).

Try Tate Mini

Try Tate Mini in Annapolis, MD. They discounted the car a little and threw in mats and bonnet stripes. Talk to Jason.

If a dealer is charging over MSRP and they are telling you this........how are they dishonest?
