MCS RF's
IMHO, the biggest reason BMW went to RF's for the MCS is the increased size of the fuel tank. The MC's tank is 10.6 gal. The MCS is 13.2! 2.6 gal. of anything takes up a lot of space/volume. The reason for moving the battery to the rear in the soft top was to make room for added cowl bracing. If you ever drove and old TR3, you'd know what "cowl shake" was all about!
