Congrats! I'd like to be bitter but I just can't!

just be happy you didn't get bumped off the first boat and then have to wait a whole week extra just to get on a boat.
And why does it take only 1 week to travel the Atlantic and another whole week to get from NY to SC. If only I could talk my MA into having my MINI dock in NY and then put it on a truck to MN from there. I could get it a week earlier.

If I did, I wouldn't tell.
I have been on order since 15 August, not sure how that compares to everyone else. I was actually offloaded in Dublin, OH at the dealership. I rented a car to make the 3 hour drive south and make pick up.
Maybe I'll join you at one of the Chicago club outings and buy you a bitter, that would be more enjoyable than being bitter!

LOL that would be great! We're actually doing the Starved Rock Run at the end of the month. It would be great to meet any fellow MINI'ers!

Still waiting
That is NOT FAIR! Did you bribe somebody? We were on the Maersk Wind and landed 5 October. We are STILL waiting hoping for delivery by 10/13 and we're only in Chicago which isn't much further than Ft. Wayne! You must have been the first off the boat and last on the trailer!

Best of luck in receiving your Mini's swiftly. Looks like several of you will be motoring before I am. Congrats!

Also want to order the M7 strut reinforcement plates. By the way, does anyone know... do these come as a set of two for $109 or is each one $109? It's not clear on the M7 website.
I was originally thinking I would get the iPod adapter, but now might just get the Aux input. Can't operate it from the steering wheel, but because of the adapter's "playlist only" functioning, it seems like I'd be forever fast forwarding to find a song I'm in the mood for. I may wait to see if I can find someone to do the DICE, but it requires a lot of installation work.
sounds like we're going to be seeing some more W38 pictures today or this weekend! Enjoy!
