New mini owner in huntsville, alabama

I bought a used 2002 chili red cooper (40,000) last week.
It has a white bonnet and silver wheels, tan and black leather, sunroof, five speed, and a MINI brand roof rack-that I am going to take off!

I also have the navigation system from navtech in it and it is from 2002. I was thinking about updating it, but I am unsure if it would be worth it. I plan to use my car to go to work and a few road trips. Is it worth it? Thanks! Anyone have a Navtech cd for sale a current one?

Also, I am not sure the alarm is working. THe little cherry thing on the dash doesn't blink, could I fix it myself, with a fuse? OR should I take it to MINI Nashville?

Welcome aboard. Happy motoring with the Nav... pretty rare option from what I've heard.

Welcome!

We have a great group of Alabama MINI owners, and you need to immediately check out www.rocketcityminis.com because you have a great group right there in town to hang out with!

Also, check out www.bamamini.com and of course, the BAMA forum here on this site to find out when we are getting together next!

Congrats on your MINI purchase. Like Yucca mentioned, check out our site and theirs for any upcoming adventures. We are still working on Septembers get together so it has not been posted yet. It's always the second Monday of the month. We are considering the Concert in the Park and bringing our own snacks. Hopefully the temps will be nice by then.

I'll keep any eye out and make sure to give you a good wave.
