Hi Everyone, I had been admirering the MINI from afar for many years driving a Dodge Ram Truck. I drive 100 miles round trip to work every day. So obviously the price of gas was killing me!!! (about $400 a month). Anyway, that was the excuse I was using for trading in my Truck. But I don't think I am going to save any money on gas !!!!! I take the longest possible way to get to where ever I am going or I make lame excuses about NEEDING something just to go drive somewhere. Somehow I think I'm going to spend just as much in gas next month but it sure is a lot more fun to drive to work.

 

Well at the end of the day, sounds like you still one up by my standards

Welcome, skylar! That's a big switch you made there!! Glad you're getting more smiles-per-gallon in your MINI!!!

 

I drive the crap out of my MINI and it still does soo much better on gas than any of my other cars. I think you are still going to be saving in the long run.

 

I used to drive a Ram also! As nice as it was I do not regret going to the MINI. I always take the long way around and you can guarantee that I am not taking it easy but I still save a lot on gas After 14 months I still love that whine from the supercharger!!
