(Almost) New to NAM!

After lurking since probably '03 and finally ordering our beloved Speedy just over a year ago, we figure it's time we finally speak up and say hello

While we haven't gotten to do nearly enough motoring over the past year (8500 miles), we hope to enjoy our MINI for many years to come.

We're here on NAM every day, and it's great to be a part of this fun-loving and knowledgable community of enthusiasts.

Happy motoring

Aaron and Amanda

Welcome to posting on NAM!

Nice MINI!

What convinced you to take the leap into posting?

(Hope your oil was changed at the 1 year interval so the warranty stays intact.)

Aaron and Amanda,

Aloha and welcome to NAM.

Where I come from 8500 miles in a year is pretty good (but I live on an island 40 miles wide).

Texas is a BIG BIG BIG state- do more exploring.

Post more pics of Speedy (why is he called that?)

Appreciate the welcome, Guys!

Also, thanks for the reminder, motor on; we haven't had the dealer do the oil change yet (I'll call tomorrow). I changed the oil at 5K, and the OBC still reads ~1700 mi to the first service. But we don't want any warranty issues!

And yes, minihune, we need to get out and do more exploring...and take some good photos...especially once the temps return to the double digits

Cheers!

Welcome.

I too don't post too many messages because someone before me has always asked and you can always find the answer to any question by looking.

If I could only stop spending some much time on the $#@%^&&*! site, it wouldn't be a problem

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that has had my mini for awhile, yet has not been posting. I love the mini community! Everyone is super helpful. You guys are right, most of my questions have already been asked so I just have to do the research on here and Wha-Bam! off I am on my merry little way, all the wiser.

(Also, I'm posting to check my signature. ha!) Thanks for your patience.
