Invisishield Question for Arizona

I'm planning to get the Invisishield when I pick up my MCS in about a month. I've been quoted $700 installed. However, when I was visiting Tom Bush MINI in Jacksonville during a business trip, they said they charged $500 and it came with a lifetime warranty - any paint/ding damage under the plastic would be fixed, no questions asked. This sounds a lot better than the Arizona dealer installed option.

Are there any non-dealer options in the Phoenix area that would be in the $400-$500 range? I've also heard there are different thicknesses of the 3M material, and that the dealer usually installs the thinnest and cheapest, whereas another NAM poster said they got the thicker kind installed for half of the price of the dealer.

Thanks!

Talk to Ryan at www.Ultra-Shield-Phoenix.com, you'll get a much better price and he's the one who does the dealer's work anyway... I've spoken with him a couple of times and he's a great guy who obviously takes a lot of pride in his work. I live in AZ but purchased in Denver to cut down the wait. Will definitely have Ryan do my clearbra once Scootr makes it back to AZ!

I was on the Fontana, came into port 7/10. OL now shows Scootr is on the way to the Denver dealership. I'm scheduled to pick up 8/9!

Based on the price of the clearbras, I am toying with clay-barring my car and then applying 300 coats of Klasse Sealant/Glaze on the front end. --doug

Thanks for starting this post! I am in AZ and picking my car up probably 3rd week in August and had the same question. Got sidetracked by the whole discussion of putting the clear bra under or over the stripes. Won't make any difference though if the dealer does it and the stripes come from the factory... so aftermarket installation makes more sense finacially!

Tom Bush rocks!

I ordered my mini from tom bush in jacksonville on 7/20/06, as the dealer is right up the street from me. They treated me great! they qouted me $250 for ipod interface installation. This price sound about right?

P.S. sorry for the hijack
