Knocking noise on under the hood

Anyone knows what it is? it seems like the knocking noise is coming from the top of the engine.

Is this under load, cruising or just idling?

Motor mount. My car had the exact same problem, and it turned out that the grease/oil inside the passenger-side motor mount has leaked out. Replaced under warranty.

Could be lots of things, maybe even a "normal" mini noise. Do some simple test like dis/engaging the clutch while in neutral and see if the noise changes, rev the engine a little, and so on. I find that the MINI engine isn't all the smooth sounding and the flywheel design creates some knocking sound that goes away when the clutch is disengaged. Many dealers will tell you this is normal but I say it is a poor design. Whatever, it doesn't seem to really affect performance.

When on Neutral, just idling, its making that knocking noise. I tried stepping on the clutch but the knocking noise is still there, I hope this is normal. When revving, the noise is gone. Pls help. Thanks.
