First Post on here!

Hey guys, just thought I'd post. Picked up my car on June 7th
My 2003 GTI was recently totaled on my way to Summer School (wasn't my fault btw) so that put me in the market for a new car. Looked into the new GTI, the RSX Type S and the Mini. Mini was the first one I drove, and that was about enough! I was sold!

Anyways, here's a picture of the car!
Don't miss the GTI one bit!!! (even though it was much faster)

Confused about reduction pulleys and such, but my first mods will be swaybar, shocks and springs anyways, so I guess i'll worry about that mess later! :impatient

Welcome to NAM!
I have a '91 Jetta GLi on blocks in the back yard. It's off-the-line launch was better than my MCS, but that's about it.
Motor safe.

Swaybear made by that brake comapny?

Welcome to NAM looks nice; yes there is much more to life than speed, but that doesn't mean the S isn't quick. Sounds like your first mods are going to give you a very well handiling car. Reduction pulleys are to Superchaged engines what ECU programming is to the turbo world, the greater the % of reduction the faster the SC spins; Also a crank pulley is similar but an increase in size size to get a very similar effect. There are several threads going into the details of each, so feel free to read up and ask any questions that are unanswered.

Welcome. And I for one liked swaybear - better. I gotta get me one of them swaybears, kinda like a cross between the bobble-head dog and the dash hulla-girl.
