Hello from Connecticut!
Hello from Connecticut!
As I settle in to my first month of MINI ownership, I'd like to thank the fine contributors to the NAM forum. You have provided a wealth of information, and have invaluable assistance in my recent Chromeline Interior retrofit.
I've also gleaned some useful info about audio, and dash panel painting, and am contemplating refinishing mine in BRG.
I've learned to pack three kids, three backpacks, a briefcase, raincoats and a trombone into my MCS as I make the daily backroads trek to work. My previous daily driver was a BMW M5, while my wife drove an M3. Much has been said about the M cars - true they are "stupid fast", but feel a bit vaugue and disconnected after driving the MINI. I've always said that the M3 was like a scared deer, while the M5 was more like a angry dragon, or rabid bear.

For those looking for a twin:
06 BRG MCS, #1, #2, #3, Chromeline Exterior & Interior, English Panther
Happy motoring!
