Anyone else geeky enough (and clueless enough about detailing) to admit to watching the 30-minute show car wash video posted in the detailing forum? Yes, I spent 30 minutes of my life watching a video about how to wash my car--and am quite happy I did!

I got the Total Protection kit. Since I don't have leather seats, it didn't seem like I needed the Ultimate Protection. Although I'm still looking for a tire solution, and am wondering if I should've gotten the Z16 as well...

I got a call from my MA yesterday and they've FINALLY released Mary to the trucking company. Hopefully, she'll be at the dealership Tuesday!

And YAY that they found Mary! Happy day all around.
Logan just got his first Zaino-ing. Whew! Five hours later, I'm beyond exhausted (there should be a smiley for that), but Logan looks gorgeous. I don't have the energy to take and post pictures, but maybe tomorrow. I'm doing his interior next weekend with his bath.
All the neighbors have started coming by to chat about Logan. We moved here in November, so while we know most of the neighbors, we don't know very many folks that well yet. Logan's doing a great job of fixing that...

Good news! My MA just called to say that Mary finally made it to the Woodlands. They've already started unpacking her, taking out the polystyrene and whatnots. I'm gonna sneak out of work early and try to take some baby pictures. "Before" pictures really....ya know, before she gets all her goodies put on. Naked pictures?

I've been checking MiniUSA almost daily. I just now checked it and my status moved from "En Route" directly to "At Mini Dealer"! It says that our car is currently being transported to our dealership (Salt Lake City). So I've got a couple of questions....
1. Because it skipped from En Route to At Mini Dealer without ever being listed as "At Distribution Center", does this mean that there's less of a chance it fell off the ship and had to be "restored" at the Distribution Center?
2. I wonder how long it takes for them to deliver a car from the port (L.A.) to Salt Lake City? I'm guessing a couple of weeks.
Too bad we're not scheduled to fly over and pick up the car until September 11th. It's going to be awfully lonely sitting there on the lot all by itself. :(
Does anyone live in Salt Lake City that would mind going over and taking a picture of it? That would be kind of cool!

No clue. We're shooting for sometime next week. I want to have her for the Hill Country Rendezvous, which is Labor Day weekend, even if that means picking her up before everything is done and then bringing her back later.

My MA called me last night to tell me the clear bra was on, but not the driving lights yet. The new tech was having difficulty, so he stopped him as to not screw the car up. Yay, MA! My panels were being pulled off today and sent out for paint.
