Rear Brakes sticking
Rear Brakes sticking
A question - I replaced my front brake pads with relative ease. With my rear brakes, the wheels refuse to come off!! I undid the lugs, but the wheels won't budge. I checked to ensure the e-brake was off and it was. Has anyone run into this problem? or is it just unique to my car? It's a 2002 MINI Cooper with lots of miles - anyone have any suggestions?
There's lots of options... search and you will find.
But the sure fire way is to leave the lug nots on, but loose, and grab a rubber mallet. Proceed to whack the tire, then spin the wheel a little bit, then whack the tire, then spin, then whack, etc... Eventually, the wheel will loosen up on the hub. That's why you left the lug nuts on - to keep the wheel from falling off the car completely.
Youd do mean the wheel, right? Not the brake disc or caliper or something like that...
