My wife and I are proud owners of a 2006 CooperS. Hopefully I'll manage to attach a picture.
I hope you were all telling the truth as I lurked these past few days researching before took the plunge, because it seems like these are great and well loved cars!
This will be my wife's daily driver, and our economical trip car when the family size during the trip is 3 plus a Yorkie, or less. Otherwise we take the Chevy Duramax crew cab pickup... no confusing the two.
I wish we could make it to the Dragon this weekend but I have to work. Maybe next time.

Looks great! We have our second MINI coming around the 15th, same color combo as yours, but just an MC. This will be my wife's daily driver, too. (She is so looking forward to giving up her Benz for this MINI. She's very excited!)

Well, I've managed to mess up my first efforts at posting and accidentally did a duplicate, which I will ask the moderators to delete

I'm at work, my wife just called to tell me she still likes the car! Like I'm shocked?? I'm an MR2 enthusiast, but these are great cars. I hope we have good luck with the economy and reliability, because we're already cashing in on the fun factor. Considering she drives about 25K miles per year, she might as well enjoy it!

Any opinions or recommendations on break in or first oil change? The salesman said keep the rpms under 4500 for the first 1200 miles, and I haven't had the chance to read the owner's manual or search much here, yet. For convenience, I'd rather run Mobil 1 which I can get at Wally World, but the salesman suggested if I do that, I need to change at 5000 miles and then stay only with Mobil 1. I've never heard anything like that before, and I've worked on cars for 30 years. Advice welcome.

I like the contrasting black on PW. I would do PW exterior, then everything else black! I have a black SLVR cell phone, and a black watch. Black and WHITE!

 

It's amazing how enthusiastic people are about MINIs! Whether they are owners or just people you see in passing, this car creates smiles. Cool!

Yes, we like the PW, although my personal favorite color was the green, but with a gravel driveway, that wouldn't be too good. I do like the PW with black roof and the stripes really add some zing.

Maybe I'll go for a spin right now. My wife left it in the driveway
