Introducing myself
Hi All,
Long time, first time. My wife and I ordered a BRG MCS w/ union jack mirrors and roof, sport package, cold weather package, and LSD. We ordered it two weeks ago and my status is still "on order". When we went to the dealership there wasn't an S available to test drive so we test drove the sales managers car. Due to the fact that it was raining and it seemed a bit odd driving the sales managers car, we didn't push it too much. We did enjoy the drive and ordered one when the test drive was over. I have a 1976 BMW 2002 that is a blast to drive, as long as Austin ( yeah, I know, real original name ) drives half as fun as my '02 I will be pleased. Anyway, just wanted to say hi.

I too had a BMW 2002 that I bought new in 1972 and really loved it, drove it for 5-1/2 years.
When I test drove my 1st MINI, the love was back and memories of the fun I had with my 2002.
I am now on my 2nd MINI and thoroghly enjoying my driving experience !
You will love your MINI...prepare for a little steering wheel size adjustment, compared to the Bimmer, the MINI steering wheel is tiny!
