Production Week 18 Support Group
Thanks to everyone for all the support over the last couple of months. Thanks to AndyWSea for starting this thread. You've been a very entertaining and informative group to hang out with during the wait for my MINI. Glad the cars are finally arriving on the west coast. Hope to meet some of you New Englanders in person some time this summer.

It's just too easy to do.
Uh oh, I think I have a potential problem with my Cabrio.
Here's the deal. I drive south in the morning with the top down. I drive north in the afternoon with the top down. The problem? Only my left side gets sun so I'm developing a distinctly one sided tan!

Oh, and the UPS driver is gonna be busy visiting our household the next few days. Wine today, detailing supplies tomorrow. Hmmm... I wonder if the two go together?

Doug-
When you Zaino your MINI, make sure to use Z-2 on the windows. Supposedly it wont streak in the rain, and right now, it looks fantastic! We will see tomorrow. (although I am hoping that it doesnt rain.)

haha, well, once again I was outside from 7 to 9 removing the airbag stickers, dusting the car after parking in that damn gravel lot, zainoing the windows, spot detailing, talking MINIs to the neighbor.
Just got in not too long ago, so I thought I would spend a little time on NAM. Whats wrong with that?

After all, one has to kick back and admire one's work. And, I got two bottles of wine.

On another note, I've noticed my gas mileage is steadily dropping. My first tank the computer said ave. gas mileage was 28 MPG. This morning the computer said my average gas mileage is 23.7 MPG. Oh, the price of fun.
Ron
So far I have went over 4500 once, COMPLETELY by accident. still on the first tank of gas and am averaging 23.4 MPG. Today I was trying to drive a little less spirited, but, yeah, not so much.
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEE
Jack is here. I had no intention of naming him, but when I saw him HE told me his name.
Too funny
I won't have a chance to get any pics till this weekend (too hard to use the camera with both hands on the wheel).
Thanks guys for your support.

No OBC for me, so all the math is by hand. Like I said above, I filled up after just about 300 miles. I put in 12.0x gallons, so 300 / 12 = 25 MPG. Not too bad, but there is a lot of highway driving in there. My old beater would have come in just shy of 30 MPG. However, I must say the lead content of my right foot seems to have dramatically increased since acquiring the MINI, which might explain a thing or two.

Who me?
No, it's more like my brain is currently only capable of holding a single (generally) coherent thought at a time. I have to get that thought out before the next one can take its place. Hence, multiple posts in a row.
Looked at the front of my car this afternoon. It looks like an entymologists workbench. Holy bug corpses, batman! I wonder what my radiator looks like. Eeew!
Good news is that the detailing supplies get here today.
