Guess what....I'm picking up my brand new HB/W MCS on Friday!!!

After a long wait my MA finally called today to tell me that my MINI has arrived! I'm so happy and excited

I'm counting down minutes.......seconds.......but I guess you already know that

Congrads!!!!!! Im a little jealous, well VERY jealous! I just ordered mine last Friday (3/17) and its only been 5 days! Another 6-8 weeks BUT CONGRADS!!!!!!!

Thank you for all your feedback I've ordered my MINI at the end of November, so it's been a looong wait...In case if you are wondering, I opted for March delivery due to financial things. And now my MINI is finally here

I'm really looking forward to driving in my own MCS!!! I'm not sure if I will have any sleep tonight, I'm just so excited!

Will have to keep myself busy somehow for the next 38 hours. Tomorrow it's going to be quite a busy day at work and I also have few movies to watch. If you have any other suggestions please let me know

congrats! I spent a LOT of time before I got my MINI reading every post on this board and all of the manuals front to back. the day I went to get my car almost felt like a dream... then it was all over and I had my beautiful new HB/W MINI. I drove about 150 miles that night... when the dealer is only about 20 away. The night before delivery I went out with friends to a local pub and spent the whole time talking about my new car and after a few frosty beverages everyone was well aware of it. I don't think there is anything that can be done to hold back the excitement... so embrace it. It's a great feeling getting your first MINI after all of the waiting!

 

Wooott! Can't wait to hear all about it once you've got it in your hot little hands...

Theroyalwe...what a great post. I will also go out with my friends tonight, nothing special, we're just meeting at my friend's flat (and then we're probably going to go for a drink to some local pub). And tomorrow..........I will be driving around in my own MINI

P.S. I'm already charging batteries for my camera. Will make a lot of photos tomorrow and will upload them asap.

 

I hope you have someone going with you that can take good pictures. I had the camera but was too excited to even think of taking pictures. my dad took maybe 4 total... kinda disappointing afterwards. I, of course, would have used both 1gb memory cards before I left the dealer :-D

I picked up my brand new MINI today! Wow what an amazing car Even better then i remembered from my test drives

My MA surprised us really nicely today. She gave a huge bunch of flowers to my mum and a huge bag of MINI stuff to me (key ring, key handle, hat....). I felt like a was dreaming......What a great feeling to be driving around in my own MINI I am so happy

What a beautiful S! I too am questioning the fact that they didn't give you a full tank of petrol? They spent all their petty-cash on flowers they stuck you with the fuel cost? Cheap bastards!

Or...did you just do so much driving that you had to refill on the way home?

 

I am so happy with my new MINI (but I guess you already know that).

Ha ha a speedo that would go to 240 (mph), would be cool Well in Europe we have a different kind of "petrol policy". The dealer only gives you enough fuel to make it to the petrol station (for around 50 miles of driving). So this is not a big thing (we don't have to pay for a car preparation and it's the same with all cars).

When I got home last night I went to garage at least three times to check and see my baby What a beautiful color combination hyper blue/white is! But as far as I can tell it's kind of hard to keep clean. We have a wonderful sunny day today, so will give my MINI a wash (and will apply some wax).

When I went to a shopping center this morning a spoted another MINI (CR/W) on the road and we gave each other a flash and a wave. How cool is this Wow once again, what an amazing car MINI is
