This is my first post so I just thought I would introduce myself. I purchased my first MINI in Oct. of '05 and I absolutely love it. It is Astro Black Metallic with the Convenience Package, Sport Package and Premium Package. I already have 7,300 Miles on it! It is the most fun car I have ever driven. My gas mileage (mostly freeway) is 34-36 mpg.
Coming from a V8 pick-up this is really refreshing! I cannot find a single thing on the car that I do not like.

Welcome to NAM!
I came from a '98 Nissan Altima. The change is great. I had to drive the Altima the other day and the steering wheel didn't even feel like it was steering the car and the car felt like it was a boat because it bobbed and weaved so much. I almost got sick.
What part of Houston are you from? I'm from the Sugar Land.

Glad you're enjoying your MINI, Lyn...it's shocking how much fun these little cars are!! Whodathunkit!!! I've had my MINI over three years and motoring is still one of my absolute favoritest things to do!

I hear what you mean, I had an Explorer (V6) before the MINI. That was over 3 years ago.
After more than 81,000 miles it's still the mosr fun car I've ever driven!
