New MCS or used JCW

Hello all, I’ve got a ’06 MCS with Sport and Convenience packages on order. I really would have wanted the JCW package but can’t swing the cost right now. Anyway, I’ve been looking around and found a few preowned JCW’s on the market that would put me at less than the cost of a new MCS. My question for you fine folks is what is the consensus on say and ’03 JCW with less than 20k mi versus a brand new MCS?

Thanks in advance and hope to be motoring soon.

I would think that with the gearing changes on the 05+, the MCS is probably as quick as the 03 JCW. Plus you get a full warranty. I'd say stick with the new car.

Get the MCS now, you can always add stuff later: aftermarket parts or the factory JCW package (which wont void the warrenty if the dealer installes it).
IMHO

Go new. A CAI/exhaust and 15% pulley will cost about $1200-1500. You will be close.
