Rotor question

My 2004 MCS emits a grinding sound at low to moderate speeds, my service manager tells me that the sound is from the rotors & while annoying ther is no related problem . Just ignore it. Has any one experienced this same problem & is it truly nothing of concern. I have owned this car car since last October, A late in life birthday gift from my wife. What a trip, I just smile when I am in that car. This is my fist time out on this site I hope I make sense to you oldtimers!

Common sense tell me any grinding sound, at any speed, should not be normal. If it is, I'm cancelling my order.
