For those on the MAERSK WAVE, they were delayed a day - will now be arriving in NYC on March 2nd. How long will it be until the car is actually ready for pickup in Northern VA? I'm guessing March 8th or 9th hopefully!

 

I figured as much. It looked like it was stalling out there around the 27th of Feb. HURRY UP!

 

Crap... seems as though my car was not on the Maesk Wave since my MA tells me all thier cars come from SC. Humm.. Either way it was supposed to be "in country" on the 1st. So maybe it didn't get the day delay like the Maersk Wave. Either way the MINI web site now says: Expected Delivery 03/09/06.

 

My Expected Delivery date says 03/10/06! Just a day after yours!

The Maersk hit port at 4pm eastern...
at 7 pm last night they started unloading...
I am getting mine at Mini of manhattan...

I know the Maersk Wave has set sail FROM NY. Has anyone received an update that had a MINI on that ship? MINIUSA still says "EN ROUTE." Should be at a distro center.

 

If you click on review order details on the order tracking page of the owners lounge it will show the expected delivery date.

 

I'm looking for any update about the Marble Highway sailing with K-line - supposed to have docked in Charleston, SC on 3/2 but I am unable to get confirmation. Anyone? I'm hoping my MINI will be in KS by 3/11 - thoughts anyone?

 

Don't worry too much as I'm in the same situation. The Maersk Wave dropped mine off 03/03/06 in NY, NY and have only seen USAMINI says it's at a Distribution Center. Is it still there or on a truck on it's way to VA? I don't know but mine is scheduled to arrive 03/10/06. I can't stand stand it either.

 

Okay, I'll try to be patient but this is killing me!

 

My MA has told me that the truck carrying my car should arrive at the dealer at the end of this week or early next week. I have to make a weekend trip out of going to MINI of Pittsburgh so I could pick it up this weekend if they have it ready. I doubt that since I'm getting a invisi-sheild put on. So its looking like next weekend. Hold on everybody, the cars are going to start arriving very soon!

 

I feel for you, Red. Having to wait an extra week for myMINI would drive me up the wall. :impatient

 

Yep, no word yet, he said it "may" be ready for this weekend. I'm thinking that the guy that they have do the Invisishield only comes in one day a week so odds of it being ready is pretty slim. Either way I'm cool. Believe it or not my new Motorcycle just came in too. (My brain is going to explode with excitement) and this weekend the weather is going to nice. So I have plenty to keep me occupied.

 

Motorcycle?? I want a job like yours that can get me two new vehicles at the same time!

 

I called my dealer. The site said expected delivery is 03/10/06 and they verified it. They've guaranteed it will be ready on the 10th, they just don't know what time :D :D :D

Well, I'm siked, my expected delivery is also 3/10/06. I've emailed my dealer and am awaiting confirmation. I'm ready to write the check!!

Woo hoo! The car arrived at the dealer yesterday. They're prepping it today and I'm picking it up tomorrow at 11! 5 weeks from ordered to delivered. Nice job Mini!

 

Wow... thats fast. Congrats... post pics. Hopefully mine has arrived at the dealer by now. I'll call my MA and see tommorrow. I'll be picking it up next weekend.

 

INDEED! My car has arrived today in Virginia Beach. I don't know when it'll be ready for pick up but I'm on my way to sneek a peak at it.
