Adoption complete!!

I FINALLY picked up my little Lambchop on Friday (1/27) after 10 l-o-o-o-o-n-g weeks of waiting and I just LOVE her from top to bottom. She's so much fun to drive and everytime I have to park her, I can hardly wait to go again. I had the top down Sat., it was in the 60's here in Macon, GA and I'm looking forward to Spring & constant "top down" weather. Already washed her after her initial rain Sunday morning. I guess the new will wear off a little eventually, but I can't see that happening anytime soon, if ever. We're going to check out the Dragon this year as total newbies; looking forward to that and meeting all the other minis!!!
Happy Motoring!

Congrats on the new arrival...looks like someone is smitten!!! btw, don't hold out too much optimism for that enthusiasm to wear out...just a caution.

Hey....you just reminded me...I took delivery of my Cooper exactly three years ago today!!! I need to party!!!

(yes, the mania has definitely deepened.)

OMG Salt and Pepper! That is totally cool and exciting. I am still on the other side of delivery and feel like a ten-year old on Christmas Eve!! Georgia has some wonderful roads and scenery, so you should have a blast! Let us know if you ever get up to Colorado and I'll take you up to Mount Evans and Trail Ridge Road for some high alitude fun!!

Congratulations !!!

My adoption is just days away.... Was at my MINI dealer today getting ready and he could see how giddy I am getting. The car is on US soil and should be in the dealership by the weekend - looking forward to picking it up next week after all the dealer options (incl JCW suspension) get put on the car. I can't believe I am this close.....

Anyway, I appreciate your enthusiasm and wish you the best for years of great motoring!!

Bill

Which ipod adapter did you get? What are your thoughts about it?

Oh, and by the way, congrats!

I ordered the adapter from the dealer and they installed it. The tech couldn't get it to work at first (it's a Nano) but his regular iPod did work and sounded great. I thought I was going to have to take it back after he did some research Mon. a.m., but when I got home I found an update on Apple and once I loaded that, it works fine. I really do like it...the sound is great and the convenience is too; I'm glad I got the adaptor instead of the 6-disc cd changer. I only wish the display on the radio was more like the iPod display, and that I didn't have to unplug it when I shut the car off. I've read on this forum that it will continue to charge and thus drain your battery.
