The MINI OL now shows that my Mini is at the VDC with an estimated delivery date of 15Mar06. I still haven't heard back from my MA about what he knows. . No fingernails left.

doh. the owner's lounge still has me listed as en route and ask mini still has me waiting for a shipping vessel. oh well it's raining like crazy today, couldn't have much fun with keyop anyway.

 

No change for me either. perhaps they just have one old dude who drives the cars one at a time from the dock to the VPC.

This tiny little crumb of information we get every few days is just torture. I think it would better better if I had no updates at all.

Good news though that my credit union quoted me a 5.3% interest rate on the loan. That's much better than mini FS quoted. Yay! more gas money

Doh!!! The Mini OL now shows 18Mar06 and my MA replied that his tracking system was down over the weekend and he couldn't tell me anything. I'd better not find out that my date got pushed back because Dashiel jumped ahead in line or heads will roll.

So Close yet So Far.

 

Still no change on mini ol for me this weekend. This morning, my MA says deliver should be first week of April.

4. more. weeks.

The delays on the delivery are getting very frustrating especially when week 7 and 8 people are getting their cars already. I think I'll sign off for a while and not try and track this car anymore otherwise I'll end up cancelling the whole thing.

 

any word chaps? i sent off a pre-emptive e-mail asking for certain things to be programmed, removed, added, etc... not heard back yet.

still have a 3/16 delivery date which is perfect.

 

I also sent my MA a similar list. The last he has told me is that it will be Monday 20Mar at the earliest before I can pick up my Mini. OL still shows 18Mar as delivery to the dealer. I'm hoping he's wrong and it will be earlier, but I think reality is starting to set in.

**Correction - The Mini OL is back to showing 16Mar as Estimated Delivery Date. Exit reality and back to the fantasy.***

 

Well, I sulked for a few days and now I feel better. It was hard to accept that delivery will be in the first week of april.

No change to mini ol or ask mini. Still says waiting at port but my MA says April. I'm suprised that it takes a month to get from VPC to dealer when east coast people go from ordering to dealer in the same amount of time.

Something wrong? My MINI was at the dealer 500 miles away the next day after the ship docked. I would pressure for a good answer.

 

ah bogus, my owners lounge estimated delivery date went from today to tomorrow. with the mini still listed as being at the VPC. booo! actually i'm guessing at this point the flash app looks at the estimated date and the current date and increases it by one just to avoid looking dumb.

 

My OL date for delivery still reads today, 16Mar06. My MA reported to me yesterday that "Emma" has her alarm installed, is all programmed and was in the trucking companies holding area. They plan to detail it again when ot arrives at te dealership. He is targeting a Saturday 18Mar delivery to me. Two days left... Woo Hoo!!!

 

hey pj - what dealership are you at again? i haven't got any feedback from my MA since last week.

 

Mini OL finally changed to at VDC with estimated delivery of 3/20/06. I emailed my MA and still wont change his date of april. He's a nice guy but he must be really conservative about dates or something in case there is any delay.

So I am hoping that I'll be able to pick it up the weekend of the 25th.

Crevier BMW/MINI in Santa Ana. MA is Dana Eastman. Ordered on Jan 13. That'll make 9 weeks + a day if he delivers on Saturday.

just got word from my MA, it's at the dealership and should be ready for pick-up saturday morning. sweet.

 

Only an hour and a half to go. We're picking up Emma at 1pm today. Yoo Hoo!!!
