New Owner - Sway bars

I have been reading for a while, and just got a 2004 MCS.
There seems to be a lot of discussion on 19mm or 22mm bars for the rear. I normally would go with the bigger is better, but it seems like on some of the vendor sites 22mm may be too much.
What size should I get?
Also, does the larger front bar do any good?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks - Jeff
