How much boost should i have?

Does anyone know how much boost i should been running? I have a 2004 mini cooper S with the JCW package. I just installed the alta intake, nology wires. Also what size pulley does the JCW kit come with? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks

the jcw pulley is around a 13.5% reduction... exact numbers are on the other forum categories.. you should be running around 12 to 14 psi at the max.. i believe thats about accurate..

I have heard that the JCW pulley is a 14.7 reduction, is that correct or the number you gave me, 13.5? I am running a max of 14psi but after i installed my alta intake it was boosting to 17, then the next day i can't even get close to the 17psi. Why do you think it was doing that?
