Signatures?

Hello all! I see that a lot of you have created your own signatures with great fonts and images. Very nice looking! Now how do you DO that? LOL Are you just creating the picture with your own software or is there a place online that helps you build them?

Any info will be helpful!

Thanks,
PJ

I use photoshop and make my own then I upload them and just put a link to it.

woow that sounded complicated but it really isnt!!

1) make a picture using paint, photoshop, another image creating software
2) upload that picture to your NAM gallery
3) use the sig setting in NAM and link your newly made picture to your sig
4) enjoy your brand new cool sig!!!

well its still complicated but post more specific questions as you move along...

I think I'll take you up on that. I got my picture uploaded to NAM. Now how the heck do I use the sig settings? I click "insert picture" and it asks me for a URL. ???????????????

right click on the picture, copy it, then paste it into the sig box.

Ok, I'm no professional. Infact my signature is really really quite simple. But, I do know something for sure. If photoshop...real photoshop is beyond your price range, then the GIMP is for you. I've used both and they both work identically. Yeah photoshop is easier at first, but once you figure out GIMPs little quirks it works exactly the same...plus it is free.

Well since I don't have my MINI yet I had to resort to the wallpaper image miniusa offers you for your mini build. Cut, past onto a gradient backgroud, simple dark blue line for perspective, and a basic text layer. Maybe after I actually get my MINI I'll update and make a better signature. Mine looks fuzzy because I decided later to make the image smaller and since it didn't look too bad I just kept it.

The width is fine (400 pixels), but the height is too tall (184 pixels).

The NAM site guidelines call for signature images to be no larger than 500 by 100 pixels.

By the way, I saw a car that looks just like yours on the street the other day. FANTASTIC color. VERY SHARP looking car. Lucky you! I love to see Coopers!

Bummer

Ya know, for as cool as it is to see other MINIs on the road and for as much as they make me smile, there is something about hoping you are the only one with "your car".

So it looked good? YAY!! Now I really can't wait. I haven't seen my color in person, just saw it in pictures and thought the chrome exterior would really make it look nicer.

Thanks for the compliment.

I thought it looked FANTASTIC! It was the first time I had seen the color. Great choice. I know how you feel about wanting to be the only one with your car..... I can't tell you for sure if they had the exterior chrome like you do !
