So last night I picked up my MINI My MA new how anxious I was so even though the key fob receiver in the rear view mirror needs to be replaced he got the car ready and gave me the option to wait until Monday for the fix or get the car now...dumb question. Actually the wait was much shorter than anticipated...ordered on 9/11 and picked up on 10/26 and this car came all the way to San Diego. I guess it didn’t get here that quick...the sway bar and boot mat beat it here. The only bad news is now I have business that will keep me from driving it all next week. Not sure which is worse; waiting for the car to arrive or having it in the garage and not being able to enjoy it...although there is still today and tomorrow...so I’ll cut this short so I can take another drive to who knows where

Congrats, picked ours up yesterday also, MCS HB/W...of course, my wife drove it home and took it to work today to show off so I STILL haven't driven it!.....Sigh....

 

Drove to L.A. and back yesterday...what a car. Next I've got to hit the twisties...maybe a trip to Palm Springs through Anza. Too bad I'm tied up with work until 11/17. Want to add my new mods too. Need some help with a sway bar and CAI...either a shop or fellow Miniacs. I'll try to get a photo on here in the next day or so. What a car...opps I already said that.

 

So for all who want to see that "Royal Grey" here are some photos. I just came back from a 250 mile drive last night...thus the bug dotted nose. I will say that it tends to look a bit brown with a hint of olive from time to time. The pictures might make it look a lot like dark silver. I really like the combo with the Silver roof.
