Future MCS owner

I have ordered a MCS due sometime early next year (don't have VIN number yet). I am coming from the Subaru world: I have an 05 STI with 355whp on a Mustang dyno (low reading, stock STI's have 235whp). Other than the occasional drag race I don't track the car so the power is wasted.

I am looking forward to the Mini as I do miss the 1991 Sentra SE-R I had and will not be sad to see 16mpg (conservative driving) go away. I will very likely completely modify the suspension and do the typical engine work like pulley, ecu, intake.

Here in Portland I have become fairly friendly with Jeff Perrin and Alta from my Subie work so the Mini will have some expert advice.

I have heard nothing from Mini yet. I placed the order with South Bay Mini on October 11 so I should hear something in a couple of weeks.
