Today for the second time of watching this series I saw a MINI placed blatantly in the show. The first time I saw MINI on CSI: Las Vegas was on the scene opener part of the way through the episode where the camera was focused on a MINI ad on top of a cab that pulled away shortly there after. This time the opened up the hatch to find that it had been used to transport a body, poor MINI, but they flashed the quarter panel just long enough to recognize it.

Other MINI pop ups in media:
Team America (the opening sequence in Paris...they are about 3 toy versions sitting around)
Ghost in the Shell: SAC (animated MINIs drive around on the roads in at least 2 episodes...guess they are the car of the future )
Hitch (In the last scene Mr. Smith gets "taken for a ride" hanging onto the open sunroof)
Master Blasters (we've all seen and hear too much of this one lately)

What odd MINI pop up appearances have you noticed in the Media?

I recently saw a Century 21 Real Estate ad on tv that showed a glimpse of a Black/wh w/ a sunroof.

 

Tuner transformation had 2 mini's in there parking lot on a recent episode

 

Opening scene of The Office last night showed a CR/W in the parking lot of Karen's new branch.

 

I bet in a toyota forum someone just posted they saw a corolla like theirs parked next to a mini in that same parking lot with a bunch of other cars.

 

Yep, I saw that too (from The Office) -- a red one

 

I watched the new Transformers movie on DVD last weekend. At 2 hours and 9 minutes in, there is a fast shot of the back 3/4 of a BRG MINI convertible. I spotted the wheel, then went back and paused the movie. It's maybe onscreen for a second or so.
