I just got back from the dealer after finalizing the order for the wife's Cooper. It's a 05 LY/B MCS w/ #1,#2,#3. The dealer said we should be taking delievery at the end of August. This is going to be the longest 6 weeks ever! So when can I expect some information about the car? Is someone going to call me with a VIN or is this something I have to check on?

 

The best thing to do is go register at the MINI owners lounge on the MINI website. You should have gotten a production number from the dealer. With that you can check status of your car. You can also call 1-866-ASK-MINI and they will tell you what is going on with the car.

End of August!?!?! I ordered mine first of june and I'm not getting mine till mid August!!

Yeah the wife knows about the car. It would have been one hell of a birthday present however (her birthday is July 30). I was looking at the paperwork, and I don't see a production number on it. I'll have to contact my MA to get this I guess.
