I'm new to NAM, but not so new to the Mini scene. I currently own a 2004 CR/W MCS With bonnet stripes, sport pack, Mini Mania CAI, R-Speed s/s exhaust, & I am having a 15% Alta pulley installed on Friday. In addition I have a new project in the form of a 1979 Austin Mini - 1275 cc W/8.4" disc brakes. It is currently in the body shop undergoing major surgery (rust repair & panel replacement). When it's finished it will be the same color scheme as the 2004 MCS, w/12x6 Superlite wheels, fender flares, & all new interior. I have already discovered how expensive & time consuming a project like this can be!
Hopefully I will hear from some Mini folks here in the south central Pa. area. There are quite a few Mini owners in York, Lancaster, & surrounding areas.
I'll try to attach some pics of the cars.

I can't wait to see the progress on your MCS's older (though smaller) sibling! Gonna make for an awesome matched set.
