I have just joined the fold while waiting for my first MC to deliver. I found NAM while trying to pass the time. Now this waiting room is making things worse, hearing all the fun you guys are having actually getting to drive your cars. MINUTIA has been waiting for a boat out of SH for over a week and by now in need of a bath I am sure.

Where in LA are you. I'm in Ft Walton Beach, FL and not that far from the border.

 

Maybe "MINUTIA" will sail on the BOHEME with "APRIL" at 1800 hours UK time. That's 1:00PM eastern time. I'll be on lunch and thinking about it. Are you booked on the BOHEME?

I, too, have been waiting on the dock since the 13th... I think we'll get on this ship. Be in NYC by the 27th... Should have our MINIs by the first few days in June. :-)

Oops, I just looked at your post again and see you're in Alabama... You'll be waiting a bit longer for yours but it will be sweet when you receive her!

Welcome! Isn't it great how much comes standard on these cars? A/C, CD player, ABS... of course, there are many who wish we could subtract a whole bunch of stuff. Even I wish you could switch off the ABS to frolic in the snow. Hope your wait is as tolerable as possible. It's definitely debatable whether hanging out here makes it more or less so!

Thanks for the welcome and encouraging words. MiniUSA OL says "Waiting Transit". Plugged my VIN into WW's auto tracking, says no info available on this VIN. I have been at this point for about 10 days now.
