Ernest T. Nugget, our white over liquid yellow MC, finished production Monday afternoon and sort of dropped off the planet after being reported ready for transport to Southampton. This morning I entered his VIN into the WW website and he came up as being assigned to the Maersk Teal which sails for the US tomorrow (5/5)!

I've been watching WW for a while now and was hoping Nugget would ride a newer ship. Might seem strange, but I remember seeing some of those older ships through the crosshairs as the submarine I served aboard used to chase and make practice attacks on any ship we came across!

Of course, any ship carrying Minis is safe!

That's awesome news.

Perhaps Nugget's voyage on a ship with... shall we say, seniority?... will involve the transferrence of all kinds of worldly wisdom from boat to car. That way, you'll end up with a brand spankin' new car that happens to already have interesting stories to tell.

Found a new Website to track movements: http://www.southamptonvts.co.uk/shipping_movments.asp shows shipping traffic in and out of Southampton UK. My Mini is scheduled to depart on Maersk Teal today sometime. That link shows the departure is scheduled for 8 o'clock tonight. Very cool! pb
