Running with the Big Dogs
Thanks to everyone at NAM (especially Lot15, my fellow Canadian!) for giving me all the information I needed to take the plunge into Mini ownership!
The truth is, I test drove a Mini twice, and didn't even bother looking at other cars after that. Too late...the choice was made!
'05 PS/B MCS (otherwise known as "Max") has been in the family for a week now and 4500 rpm is becoming a serious restriction! One minor, stress inducing hiccup with a wheel bearing defect is now fixed and Max and I are happy campers, although I still have "new owners jitters".
Haven't used the stereo much....engine sounds are just too much fun. But having 100 songs on one MP3 CD is great (if only the head unit would read the ID tags).
Looking forward to a great summer of driving. Then I need to email Lot15 and learn how to get Max ready for the Canadian winter!
