Hello all...

I recently purchased a 2004 Mini Cooper S w/sport package, all black with grey interior- I am enjoying the heck out of this thing! The car has 16K miles on it and runs like a top. It came with an Alta intake and I've installed a short antenna and Whalen shift ****. I have an appointment in a few days to have M7 springs installed and I've got several items (Ipod adapter, Alta intake diverter, glove box organizer, etc) coming in the mail. I've been surfing the site a bit and it seems like a wealth of information. Looking forward to many more posts.

Welcome! I'm still fairly new here myself. You're right, there is a lot of good information here. This site has been a lot of help to me.

I really dig the black/black combo. What's the emblem on the grille? Just curious.

jbsf3 -

Hey, enjoy the m7 springs! I just put them on and really like them...FYI, You might need control arms too, since you increase camber in the rear when you lower the car.

Cheers - - m

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. The emblem on the front was there when I bought it but when the car was being detailed by the dealership they removed it- not sure what it was. Thanks for the info on the control arms- I'm looking forward to lots of mods, thanks again for welcoming me to such a great site.
