This is my frist post on this forum. I am happy to say that since March 15th 2005 I have been the proud owner of a Brand New 2004 MINI Cooper S MC40 #281. My only problem is that I have yet to drive this little machine. It is waiting for me in NJ until the 29th of April when I can finally make the trip to NJ to pick her up and take her home.

Cheers!

(Who else has MC40's? Does anyone else have classic Jaguars?)

Congratulations. I love the MC40 and can't understand why it didn't sell out immediately (only 1000 of them). I especially admire the interior--a visual treat. Someone with NAM (BradB? Sorry if I got that wrong.) has an XK150 in a very well lit and spacious garage (from what I could see in the photos). Have fun driving it home from NJ, but better read up on proper break-in procedures for a MINI first.

Has anyone started an MC40 registry to track all those numbered MINIs?

Now thats a good idea. I wonder if anyone has...I know I've seen several people on here talk of owning them.

Registry for MC40's

www.mc40.com has a listing of MC40 cars and where they are located. I believe they have somewhere around 50 or so cars. As with any numbered car alot of the people just simply don't know what they bought. Sad but true.

Cheers!
