Howdy!
Howdy!
I have had my 2002 Cosmic Black/White Mini for about 6 weeks now, and I just can't stop smiling
I had been thinking about buying one for a while, as I am a fan of Cooper going back to the mid 60's glory days of Formula One racing. My previous car, a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon, was a great car, and gave good service, but it just doesn't have that certain "something" that a MINI has. I'm a radio DJ, and I was doing a remote at Gary Smith Honda in Fort Walton Beach FL, and wouldn't you know it, they had a 2002 Mini on the lot with only 10k miles on it, for only 15k. Now she is mine
Absolutely the most fun to drive car I have ever owned, and definately an attention getter. I did a remote last weekend at a used car dealer called Wholesale Nation, also in Ft. Walton Beach, and the owner told me that in the 2 hours I was there, he had 4 different people ask him how much for the MINI Cooper
I'm sorry I'm going to have to miss the Dragon this year, but I am already making plans to attend next year.
I believe I have found my automotive destiny with the Mini Cooper, and I can't see myself ever driving anything else, now that I know.
One more thing,
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I think I'm about the luckiest guy alive, having found Matilda like that (named Matilda in the hope that my Mini will prove to be as durable as the WW2 era British tank of the same name). It's destiny
Now, I just have to get some white bonnet stripes and a pair of rally lights for the front grill, and she'll be just about perfect.
What a wonderful car
