Howdy!

I'm new to the world of Mini and new to this board, so I just wanted to say hello how we do in my corner of Texas.

I recently bought a Indi Blue 2003 MCS. It's got all the bells and whistles minus the sat-nav. I absolutely love it. It is just so much fun to drive. As soon as I recover from the large debit to my bank account to cover the down-payment, I plan to 'tinker' quite a bit.

I am leaning towards an Alta Intake and Invidia Catback right off the bat, with a pulley, wheels and tires, etc coming later.

Oh, and I am a 20 year old Mechanical Engineering student at Texas A&M University who is crazy about cars. I actually hope to intern with BMW in the coming year, so if anyone has any contacts, I would be greatly appreciative. I'll put pictures in my gallery as soon as someone explains to me how to do that.

I broke down and ordered the Invidia G200 exhaust, and I am about to get the blackout taillight covers. This is too addicting. I will have to tell my friends to lock my computer when I am drinking .
