I just wanted to say howdy to everyone here, I have been lurking about the forums for about a week now. I wanted to do some research before seriously looking at a Mini. Thanks for everyone's input, you have convinced me to take a test drive this weekend. The best part is when I told my wife that was the plan for Sat she was really excited. I may have to buy 2 of them I talked to the dealer and they have 2 that fit my option list so we shall see. One is all silver with blue seats and the other is all black with a red/black seat option.

Well, howdy all and hopefully I will soon be motoring with the crowd.

 

Hello & welcome to the forum. I fell in love with the MINI after the test drive (ok to be honest I was biased even before the test drive ). What kind of MINI are you looking for, regular cooper or the cooperS? Auto or manual? Hvae fun test driving it

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I will start with just one for now. This is my wife's car, but since I drive so far to work I get to use it. She won't be too upset though, she got the new Ram to drive every day when it was new.

I am looking for something for fuel economy so the MC will be the one we get. They have 2 to choose from that have close to the options we want. The salesgirls demo is silver/silver with blue leather but is missing the sport option. The other one is jet black/black with black/red leather seats. It has about every option available but is about 2k more than the demo. I drive about 95 miles per day so the black option isn't thrilling me much but it sounds like that is what she wants.
