B/B MCS JCW engine/brakes

Just took delivery of this little toy today. Process took a week since the dealer had color and options. Otto's in West Chester Pa installed the JCW kits and was a pleasure to deal with in the process.
Traded in an 04 Volvo S60R so dropped 90 HP and 1200#s. Put 150 miles on today and it is a blast. Needed to have an over steering car since the other toy is a Cobra.
Pulled into driveway and wife was standing there as I got out and she got in to take it for a drive. Not bad for a pair of 59 year olds. Can always have fun.
Only issue is the trunk release above the plate has jammed, worked fine when they delivered the car. Its new.
Looking forward to learning from you all.
Jack

Congratulations. Seemed like a fun day for you. Odd comment about the Cobra. I recall with mine that it was quite neutral and could be induced to oversteer or understeer, but sometimes without my conspiring to. It was a 289 so the suspension geometry was awkward to begin with. The MINI is much more civilized. Have fun with both of them.

Chassis is a specialty designed race job from JBL out in San Diego. Built with throttle oversteer on purpose for track purposes.

Congrats

Welcome to the cult! Love my JCW Mini, and the owners were an unexpected pleasure as well. Now all you have to do is get past the break-in period and try it out on the track. With the Cobra as well, that would be a really fun day!
