Number two coming soon!

Having owned an '04 MCS DS/B for all of 3 months now, we came to the realization that having a household with two licensed drivers and only one MINI is a BAD combination. . .SOOOOOOO. . .called our dealer, got on the waiting list, we're gonna bring home MINI number two - already built it online, looking at CR/B MCSa with nav, all packages, red/black interior. Will probably be an '05, possibly an '06 depending on price increases, color options, availablity, etc.

Not even officially on order yet, but we can't wait. Especially me, since I inherit Earl (the '04) as soon as the as yet unnamed baby comes home. . .

Man, it's gonna be a LONG six months. . .

Not a predicament, really - we already have that one figured out, what with one being a manual and one being an auto. . .we think that the CR/B auto will be good for the fun runs, and the DS/B manual will be good for the REALLY fun runs!

PS - you say our '02 MCS went to "MINI heaven - burned up" - is there a story behind that, or is the tale posted somewhere else on here??

Yep - quite a story.....Here is the thread:

Things are still not settled at this point....it will be on-going for a few more months. However, hopefully in the next day or so, I will be able to post the cause of the problem.
