Julie at Classis just emailed me with the production number for Sparky, my Jet Black/Black MCS.

I'll be taking delivery at the end of May, as I will be in the Cleveland area then. I'll pick it up, and drive it back to WA.

I have been very happy with the service I have recieved from Classic, and look forward to meeting Julie when I pick up my Sleek Black Beauty.

Wow. I am already in 2nd Gear (when did that happen?) here on NAM and don't even have a MINI yet. I drive a car so seldom that maybe I can just keep posting on NAM and pretend to myself that I have a MINI. Could I fool me? Hmmm.

Two days ago I was set on a black MINI, but yesterday I wanted a red one. This morning I was sent an ad for a 2005 MCS on craigslist and want white again. How do people make up their minds?

 

Congrats, Lance! Be sure to stock up on microfiber towels and plenty of car care products! I have an all-Jet Black MCS and she requires plenty of pampering!

As for choosing colors....it is a classic MINI-syndrome to flip-flop, since all the colors are so attractive! I first thought LY/B would be my choice, then BRG/W! I ended up buying an all-Pure Silver Cooper in Aug. 2002, and traded her in once I saw the first of the Jet Black MCSs! LOL!

i know exactly what you all mean about color indecision... i went as far as to order a standard cooper before calling back later and ordering a different MCS! now im just wishing i had gotten a manual instead of the automatic i did order!

 

Color was my hardest and final choice. Purple Haze, Yellow, Gold, BR Green, Pepper White were all in the running with Pepper White still being considered the day I ordered. I really wanted Hot Orange, but did not want a convertible... I waited for January and ordered a Hyper Blue MC with a White Roof. I had been dead set on a black roof up until about a month before ordering then white started to look pretty good. So many choices...

 

You got to do what I did. Set yourself a deadline. Mine is this Friday (tomorrow) 12 Noon. Whatever color combo happens to be on your mind at that time gets ordered. No if ands or buts. Just do it - no regrets. Oh, and if you do end up regretting it, then just buy a second one! My mama never said you could have to many Minis!
