NEW to NAM

Hello Everyone, I started monitoring this web site before my '05 MCS arrived. From what I read, all good people, all good ideas, all good mods. I hope I'm able to share some of my ideas as time goes on.

Thanks for the welcome!

It's nice to have a warm welcome, thank you. I live and work in Colorado, I also have a BMW K1200RS motorcycle, and a BMW 330xi. I guess I was distined to have a MINI althought I was greatly influenced by the original Thomas Crown Affair where Steve McQueen took Faye Dunaway on a rally. Great movie. My Hyper Blue MCS is ALL blue, top, mirror backs the whole shot. I, of course, want to increase performance and fortunately Randy Webb is not too far away.

Oh well, I may end up living in a box, but I'll have a fast ride to the unemployeement line. I hope to contibute my experiences with others or at least chime in with my $.02 worth. Felix

Hi Felix,
Could Conifer be your home town? Sure love to be tooling up 285 in my MCSC heading for my old home on Wamblee Valley Rd.

That would be a roger on that

. Crusing up and down 285 to my JOB in the city is the best part of the day. What time of the day do you head down? We might meet up and have a "spirted" ride down the hill. F

Sounds great, unfortunately It's been many years since I've lived in that part of the country. I think it's been 15 years since I made that commute. I know a lot has changed, but from what I recall from a visit 5 years or so ago, the ride is still a screamer. Have fun! Hope a Mini is in your future, their a gas.
