Hi everyone.
Bit of an introduction.
We are Pat and Sarah, (and our son Toby the Mini driver) we are originally from Brighton Sussex in the UK now living in Perth Western Australia.
We have a R53 Mini 2002 Dark gray, one new careful but heavy footed owner, several not so careful past owners, it has a few mods, larger Airtec Intercooler, Alta Cold air intake, cooler running spark plugs and 8mm coil leads, refitted new headliner, (twice) replaced both drive shafts and engine mounts, fancy Airtec rear wing and other bits yet to fit, all present oil leaks have been addressed, and no doubt, will continue to address the new ones as they appear.
Being in Australia, the vehicle has little to no rust either on the subframes or the body, the past oil leaks have helped stop the rust also.
Really love driving the Mini, we have other vehicles, 2016 330i BMW, 2015 Nissan Patrol and a self converted 2010 MK7 Ford Transit campervan, but the Mini is most fun to drive.
Look Forward to being part of this platform.
Pat and Sarah

Hi all, Joining from the UK, so apologies for all the extra letters ;-) I'm a qualified mechanic, and now mechanical engineer with MSc in advanced materials science and Additive Manufacturing... Car Tuning being my latest challenge to master for myself, i'm here to get involved in those types of discussions, hoping to learn more about that from those on here, and hopefully my knowledge might be able to help some of you out on here in return. Speak soon.
Best regards to all,
Clint
