Hey yall,
I have a 2003 base r50 with a cvt that i picked up from my neighbor for 100k for 200$ 🤯. Not much info on these swaps out there, but im looking for the helping hands of germany and the lot. I dropped in a 6spd lsd from an 06 s at the junkyard and it went relatively smoothly. Everything is put together but obviously the cvt ecu is having a **** fit about the new tranni. My thought is, that if the connectors are the same, i can just put in a manual ecu and it will all be peachy. If need be, i can even grab the same ecu that was used for this 6 speed as the car i got it from still has it. No idea if this will work, but i heard a guy just wired the ews to the ignition system and that made it all work just fine. I will try to figure that out but please reply if you can help with this IN ANY WAY. Thanks yall!
