New member and headlight adjustment question

Hi, great to see so many enthusiasts for Mini and such a great forum to share and learn from. I have always been a great admirer of the Mini Cooper and always had an eye on getting a Cooper one day. Well, I have bought a 2006 Mini Cooper Checkmate edition R 50 manual and I am really pleased. It is a second car for me with the idea doing my own servicing and repairs. I have done a full service and a few odds and ends but I need to adjust the headlight beam on one side. The beam currently is aimed on the road about 2 metres in front of the car. I see there are two screws on the back of the headlight unit under the hood. I understand that the outer screw is for right/left adjustment and the inside screw for up down. Is that correct? Plus, do you turn the screw clockwise or counter clockwise to raised the beam higher? Any advise would be very much appreciated.

G'day fellow down underer I think in is up, it is easy to see as a little adjustment alters the beam a lot, so just give it a screw and see
