Newbie to Forums Inbound
Hi everyone! I'm still a fairly new Mini owner with a Countryman R60 under my belt (past two years) and a sweet little R57 (3 months).
Huge petrol head. Love a modification or two. Also a stack of tools collected over the years so very much into building and engineering my own stuff if an off the shelf part isn't available or to my taste. Also like to dabble in electronics and mechanics so getting to know my way around Minis right now is pretty cool.
The R57 is pretty standard and a bit ropey in the interior department (interior trim pieces broke, scratched etc). Stereo didn't work either so I've already swapped that out and put new speakers in. Apart from that, mechanically, its pretty sound but does need a little TLC to bring it back to its former glory.
The R60. It's a 1.6 Cooper (122bhp) so not the fastest but handles well and looks the part. Some more plans for this one too but just trying to get custom work done as off the shelf parts aren't really an option for these engines.
