New R60 owner in New England

Hello all,

Proud and happy owner of a new-to-me 2015 R60 S ALL4 here. I sorta was forced into this purchase due to the pandemic. My 40mi, one-way, commute to work used to be carried-out by a lil ole capable Honda hybrid. But since the pandemic hit, my girl now takes the Honda into work, instead of the train. I happily drove my trusty ole '94 Explorer in the mean time, but gas was getting expensive. The Countryman seemed to fit the bill, and here we are...

I always appreciated the Minis from afar. But ever since I drove one for a rental, and then again later as a loaner, I realized how well built/solid they were, and always thought how I wouldn't mind driving one more often.. when the need to find a capable daily driver arose, she happened to show up, and I obviously couldn't pass.

Getting me to work on-time.

She's a bit on the low-key side, for a Mini, but I'm most definitely okay with that. We'll evolve together. I've already had to pull the front bumper off, so we're getting to know each other just fine. Anyhow, glad to have found this place.

-Mike

p,s. I'm like 1 for 50 on getting a wave back. Connecticut Mini owners...

Welcome. nice R60. Yep now MINIs are more mainstream in city areas you dont get as many ways. In smaller cities you do as they are more rare.
