Hi Everyone. My name is Fred, I used to autocross a lot 10 years ago, but got married, bought a house, got a kid, and then builg a 26x28 garage to have fun. I decided that I wanted s miltipurpose fun little car to autocross, track and do some time attacks. I don't want a trailer queen but a car I can drive to my events. Thinking of having a small trailer for tires and tool box. Im currently debating between a R50, R53 or R56 turbo.I'm mechanicly inclined so I'm not affraid of getting my hands dirty, plus I'm pretty good with a welder and grinder.
hoping to learn more on these cars and have fun.
cheers

Hello and welcome. Dont forget to post up some pics if you get ones, my vote for autoX is a 2005-2006 R53.

Thanks...will do...yhea... the more I'm doing my research the more the choice are narrowing towards a R53. I remember getting my butt kicked in Hstock by R50's when I had my focus ZX3... But now as a track toy the R53 will fit the bill.cheersFred
